Looks like another politician is trying to clean up the international calling cards business. Congressman Eliot Engel, who serves parts of Westchester and Putnma counties in NY, is in the process of introducing a bill called the "calling card consumer protection act" that would regulate the practices of calling card issuers forcing them to clearly deffine all fess and taxes and provide a clear "live" operator phone number where consumers can call to get more information on the card or assistance.
